JKT Queens have set renewed ambitions for the upcoming Tanzania Women’s Premier League season, with the club leadership declaring that all focus is now on reclaiming domestic dominance and securing another chance to compete on the African stage.

Speaking shortly after the team’s return to the country on November 19, 2025, the club’s Information Officer, Masau Bwire, said JKT Queens are entering the new season with clear determination to win the Tanzania Women’s Premier League, dominate the CECAFA region, and qualify once again for the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Bwire noted that their recent participation in continental competitions has strengthened the squad, giving players invaluable experience that will shape their preparations for the coming season.

“Our elimination from the Champions League has only strengthened our resolve. Our goal now is to make history by earning a third international appearance,” Bwire said.

Player Anastazia Katunzi echoed the same spirit, stressing that the team has not been discouraged by their early exit.

She said the lessons learned especially from the defending champions—will motivate them to return stronger and more strategic.

“The champions used strength, experience, and the right tactics to protect their title. We also created several chances but failed to convert them. Still, we are not giving up,” Anastazia said.

She urged Tanzanians to continue supporting the team, assuring fans that JKT Queens are returning home with renewed focus and commitment.

“We ask our supporters not to lose hope in us. We are going back to reorganize, and next time, they will celebrate,” she added.

With new energy and a stronger sense of purpose, JKT Queens now begin their mission to reclaim their place among Africa’s elite women’s football teams.
