Yanga SC, Mtibwa clash in NBC Tanzania Premier League tomorrow

Yanga SC will face Mtibwa Sugar tomorrow in a highly anticipated NBC Tanzania Premier League match at the KMC Complex Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Yanga heads into the game with confidence after defeating Silver Strikers 2-0 to advance from the group stage, while Mtibwa Sugar secured a win over Dodoma Jiji in their last outing.

Speaking on October 27, 2025, Yanga head coach Patrick Mabedi said the team is focused on claiming all three points.

“We have worked on the challenges from our last match during training and are ready to ensure our players make the most of every opportunity. I am pleased with the performance against Silver Strikers. As the season progresses, our tactics and cohesion will improve further,” Mabedi said.

He added that the match will be tough and competitive. “We respect every opponent and must remain focused against Mtibwa Sugar,” he said.


On striker Prince Dube, Mabedi said: “He has done well and understands the pressure of missing goals. With his talent and determination, he will regain form. Pressure is normal, and I am confident he will return to his best.”

Mabedi also urged fans to turn out in large numbers, recalling the strong support in their previous match, which motivated the players.

Yanga midfielder Offen Chikola emphasized the team’s determination: “This is a tough match, and we are ready to fight for the three points. Fans are essential their support completes us. We are committed to giving them joy on the pitch.”
