TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Limited has launched its first service station in Kimara, marking a major step in expanding reliable energy access across Dar es Salaam.

The launch today coincided with the 2025 Africa Customer Service Week, underscoring the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction under the theme “Your Trust, Our Everyday Energy.”

The new TotalEnergies Kimara Service Station offers a full range of services including Excellium premium fuel, high-quality lubricants, TotalEnergies cooking gas, and fuel card services. The facility aims to provide a modern, convenient, and safe fueling experience for motorists in Kimara and neighboring areas.

Speaking during the inauguration, TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Managing Director, Mr. Mamadou Ngom, said the opening of the Kimara station demonstrates the company’s strategy to bring energy solutions closer to communities while improving customer experience.

“This launch reflects our dedication to serving Tanzanians with energy that is reliable and accessible. Through the Dealer-Owned-Dealer-Operated program, we are expanding our presence to ensure every customer can access premium fuel, quality lubricants, and clean energy for cooking,” he said.

Mr. Ngom added that the company continues to invest in infrastructure and partnerships that build trust with customers and partners across the country. He said the station represents not only business expansion but also an effort to empower local entrepreneurs and contribute to national economic growth.

The new Kimara outlet is part of TotalEnergies’ broader plan to modernize its network of service stations, offering integrated energy services that respond to changing customer needs. It also aligns with the government’s drive to promote private investment and create local employment opportunities.

Mr. Godfrey Nyashage, the dealer and owner of the Kimara Service Station, described the launch as a testament to strong collaboration and shared values between TotalEnergies and its partners.

“I placed my trust in TotalEnergies because of their reputation for excellence and integrity. From the very beginning, the company’s support has been remarkable, giving me confidence to deliver the quality service that customers expect,” he said.

He thanked his family and the TotalEnergies management for their continuous support, noting that the new station is ready to serve customers with professionalism and care.

“We have brought Kimara a complete service hub — from high-grade fuel and lubricants for cars and motorcycles to reliable fuel card services and clean cooking gas. This is your station, and we are here to serve you,” he added.

The launch further reinforces TotalEnergies’ long-term vision of contributing to Tanzania’s energy transition by investing in innovative and sustainable energy solutions.

Established in 1969, TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Limited markets and supplies petroleum products, LPG, and lubricants while venturing into renewable energy. The company also supports rural electrification through the TotalEnergies Access to Solar (TATS) initiative, which distributes solar lamps to communities across the country.

With the Kimara station now operational, TotalEnergies has strengthened its footprint in Tanzania’s growing energy sector, combining customer trust with innovation to meet the nation’s rising demand for clean and efficient energy.
