Tanzanians win big in Piku Africa digital auction

By Our Reporter

Two Tanzanians have celebrated major wins in Piku Africa, a leading digital auction platform, taking home high-value prizes in the latest draw.

Joyce Brown, 27, a private company employee, walked away with a brand-new Samsung Galaxy A06 smartphone. She said she first learned about Piku through a friend who had previously won prizes.

“When I saw my friend win, I was inspired to try my luck. Piku is genuine—there’s no trickery. I encourage all Tanzanians to participate because everyone has a real chance of winning,” Joyce said, beaming with excitement.

Witness Saimon, 37, a businessman, won a male and female combo prize valued at over TZS 2 million. He credited a friend’s encouragement for his decision to participate.

“Although my friend has not won yet, he continues to try. I want to commend Piku for their honesty and the way they treat winners,” Witness said.

Barnabas Mbunda, Piku Africa’s Communications Manager, said the company is offering more opportunities for participants to win life-changing prizes through its ongoing digital auctions.

“By the end of this year, one lucky participant will win a brand-new Toyota Raum, complete with full-year insurance and a fuel card, valued at over TZS 30 million,” Mbunda said.

Additionally, a Piku mine draw winner will claim a set of pure gold worth TZS 6 million and can choose their preferred set from the store.

Through Piku’s Zigo draw, a participant placing a small but unique bid after 28 days will win a new TVS motorcycle, including a helmet, reflector, six-month fuel card, and insurance, valued at TZS 4 million.

Every 14 days, Piku’s Combo draws feature premium watches, perfumes, a 55-inch LG television, and a full-year Airtel router subscription, with total prizes worth TZS 2.4 million.

Mbunda said these initiatives are part of Piku Africa’s strategy to expand its services and provide Tanzanians with the opportunity to compete for valuable, life-changing prizes.

“We encourage adults and young people aged 18 and above to participate. Simply download the Piku app from the Play Store for Android users or the App Store for iPhone users,” he added.

Tickets are affordably priced, starting from TZS 1,000 for 10 tickets, TZS 5,000 for 50 tickets, and TZS 10,000 for 100 tickets. The more tickets a participant buys, the higher their chances of winning.
