Simba Sports Club fans are set to flood Benjamin Mkapa Stadium for the return leg against Eswatini’s Nsingizini Hotspurs in the CAF Champions League.
The second-leg match is scheduled for October 26, with Simba finally allowed to host fans after serving a home-game ban imposed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Speaking to the media, Simba’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ally, confirmed that the club’s home ban has officially ended. Fans will now be allowed to support the team in person.
“We are excited to announce that spectators will be allowed into the stadium for our return match against Nsingizini. The home game ban has officially ended,” said Ally.
He urged fans to turn up in large numbers, making the stadium a fortress of support to boost the team’s push for victory and qualification to the group stage.
“This is the moment for our fans to show their loyalty. Arrive early, bring the noise, and let Mkapa Stadium burn with energy for our players,” he said.
Ally reminded supporters to maintain discipline and avoid violence. “CAF monitors teams returning from bans closely. Any repeat offenses can lead to harsher penalties. Every fan must be an ambassador of peace—cheer passionately, but responsibly,” he stressed.
The Media Manager also highlighted the importance of the match. Simba is Tanzania’s only team to have scored an away win in this season’s competition.
“Defeating the Eswatini champions 3-0 away is no small feat. Fans should show their support by attending and cheering their hearts out,” he said.
He described the match as an opportunity to witness head coach Dimitar Pantev in action. “After the first-leg game, the coach made it clear he was not satisfied with the team’s performance. He wants more, and we are yet to see it fully. Our motto for October 26: ‘We are not satisfied; we want more,’” Ally said.
Tickets for the match are priced as follows: VIP A – TZS 30,000, B – TZS 20,000, C – TZS 10,000, Mzunguko – TZS 5,000, Platinum – TZS 150,000, and Tanzanite – TZS 250,000.
Ally concluded by emphasizing that the game is a premium entertainment experience. “This is not a free event. Come with your friends and family to enjoy watching top-level football live. Witness the thrill, the skill, and the passion of Simba on the pitch,” he said.
