Mbuni FC has stormed back to the top of the NBC Championship standings after defeating Hausing FC 3–1 in an entertaining match played today in Njombe Region.
The Arusha-based club continued its impressive start to the 2025/26 season, earning a third consecutive victory that keeps them unbeaten with nine points from three matches.
Pius Masenza opened the scoring for Mbuni in the 34th minute of the first half, giving his side an early advantage. In the 70th minute, Juventus doubled the lead before Rished sealed the win with a fine finish to make it 3–1.
Although Mbuni claimed a comfortable win, they conceded their first goal of the season—ending a run of three clean sheets. The team has now scored nine goals and conceded just one, a testament to their solid defense and attacking efficiency.
Head coach and players alike will be encouraged by the team’s form as they prepare for their next fixture against Songea United on November 11 at the Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha.
