Jema auto launches online car procurement bidding system

Jema Afrika, through its subsidiary company Jema Auto, which specializes in the importation and distribution of motor vehicles, has launched a digital bidding system that allows customers to purchase cars directly online.

Speaking during the official launch, Mr. Revocatus Vicent, the Deputy Director of Operations at Jema Afrika, praised the company’s continued commitment to innovation and excellence in service delivery. 

He highlighted that the new system is designed to enhance transparency and efficiency in vehicle procurement across the country.

On his part, Mr. Lazaro Mtobeka, Head of Jema Auto, explained that the company decided to introduce the online bidding platform in Tanzania with the aim of simplifying access to vehicles for both agents and individual buyers.

 According to him, this innovation will make it easier for customers to participate in the car purchasing process without the need for middlemen, saving both time and cost.

Several car dealers and company owners who attended the launch expressed their appreciation for the new platform, saying it will transform the vehicle procurement experience and improve trust within the automotive market. 

They also pledged to collaborate with Jema Afrika in promoting the use of digital systems in the industry.

The launch of this online car bidding system marks an important step for Jema Afrika in leveraging technology to modernize Tanzania’s automotive trade and provide customers with convenient, reliable, and transparent services.
