Tanzanian boxer Yusuph Changalawe is intensifying his preparation ahead of the highly anticipated “Knockout Ya Mama” fight, set for October 10 at the Super Dome in Masaki, Dar es Salaam.
Changalawe will face Zambian fighter Azaniali Mwasepe, competing for the PST Championship belt in the sixth season of the “Knockout Ya Mama,” organized by Mafia Boxing Promotion.
The event will showcase top talent from both Tanzania and the international boxing scene.
Speaking to The Respondents Online, Changalawe said his training regimen is focused on strength, endurance, and tactical readiness to ensure the championship belt stays in Tanzania.
His preparation includes rigorous gym workouts, beach training, and sparring sessions to sharpen his skills ahead of the fight.
“This fight is a continuation of my journey from last season’s ‘Knockout Ya Mama,’ and I aim to perform even better this time. My focus is on winning decisively against my opponent,” Changalawe said.
He added that immediately after the match, he will join the national boxing team to compete in the Third African Regional Championships in Kenya on October 14–15, marking another step in his growing international boxing career.
