PIKU Africa, a leading digital platform for online auctions, has rewarded two winners in the fourth round of its ongoing promotion, reaffirming its commitment to transforming Tanzania’s e-commerce and auction industry.
Hamimu Madenge, Manager of Viva Supermarket at Makumbusho, Dar es Salaam, emerged the top winner, receiving products valued at TZS 2 million.
The second winner, Adam Ahmad, a Goba resident and building materials trader, walked away with a Samsung smartphone, an Airtel SIM card with a one-year subscription, and a speaker.
Madenge said he was introduced to the platform by one of his customers and immediately became determined to try his luck.
“When I started playing, I told myself it was not just a trial but a must-win. I invested, secured enough tickets, and managed to win some of the items on auction. The prizes I have received are of high quality,” he said.
Ahmad echoed his sentiments, saying he also joined after encouragement from a friend who had won before.
“I tried my luck and was fortunate to win a phone I really needed. PIKU is genuine; if you win, you receive your products. I encourage others to participate,” he said.
PIKU offers tickets at different rates 10 tickets for TZS 1,000; 50 tickets for TZS 5,000; 100 tickets for TZS 10,000; and 1,000 tickets for TZS 100,000.
According to PIKU Africa’s Head of Communications, Barnabas Mbunda, the more tickets one buys, the greater the chances of winning.
He added that major prizes still on offer include a Toyota Raum car, a new TVS motorcycle, and gold.
“To join, users simply download the PIKU app from the Play Store or Apple Store and follow the instructions. I encourage more people to participate as there are still plenty of products to be won,” he said.
PIKU Africa has positioned itself as a pioneer in digital auctions in Tanzania, offering a transparent and innovative system that allows people to access quality products at affordable prices.
