JKT Queens eye maximum points against Yei Joint Stars

By Victoria Godfrey

JKT Queens are aiming for a clean sweep of points when they take on Yei Joint Stars of South Sudan in their final group stage match on September 11 at Nairobi’s Ulinzi Complex Stadium.

The Tanzanian side started their campaign with a statement, thrashing JKU Princess 5-0 on September 5 at the same venue.

Speaking to the media, JKT Queens/Tanzania spokesperson Masau Bwire said the team is determined to maintain their winning momentum as they pursue the championship trophy.

“We delivered a strong 5-0 performance against our neighbors, and now we want to surpass that and showcase even greater skill in the next match,” Bwire said.

He urged Tanzanians to continue cheering for the team, highlighting the importance of raising the national flag and making history for Tanzanian women’s football.

“Your support inspires us to push harder, perform better, and ensure the world recognizes Tanzania on the football stage,” he added.
