Simba SC has added depth to its midfield by signing Antony Mligo on a three-year contract ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The club confirmed the signing on August 5, 2025, through its official app, stating that Mligo will be part of the squad as Simba prepares for both domestic and international competitions.

Mligo joins from Namungo FC, where he showed strong performances in the NBC Premier League. Before Namungo, he played for Geita Gold, making a name for himself as a reliable midfielder.

The 22-year-old brings energy and versatility to the team. Simba's technical bench sees him as a long-term investment in their midfield strategy.

His arrival comes as Simba intensifies preparations for the new season. The team is currently in Ismailia, Egypt, for a four-week pre-season training camp.

Mligo is expected to link up with the squad during the camp, giving the technical staff time to integrate him into the team's system ahead of competitive matches.

Simba has been active in the transfer market, aiming to strengthen its squad depth following a competitive 2024/25 campaign.
