According to Dr. Tran Thi Tra Phuong, Deputy Head of the Nutrition Department at K National Center Hospital, avocados are widely used in both health and beauty products due to their rich nutrient profile and natural oils. 

Avocado oil consists of 71% monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA), 13% polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), and 16% saturated fatty acids (SFA). 

The fruit also provides a healthy balance of 70% insoluble fiber and 30% soluble fiber, making it a powerful addition to a balanced diet.

One of the most important health benefits of avocados is their ability to enhance heart health. The high content of monounsaturated fats, along with potassium and vitamin B6, helps lower “bad” LDL cholesterol while raising “good” HDL cholesterol, ultimately reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. 

Avocados also contribute to improved brain function. Rich in B vitamins like folate and vitamin B6, they support metabolism and neurotransmitter production, which are essential for cognitive health.
