Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has emphasized that progress in the education sector is the key to the salvation and success of any nation worldwide.

He said that recognizing this, the leadership of President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan has decided to invest heavily in education to ensure that Tanzanian children receive quality education at all levels.

Prime Minister Majaliwa made these remarks while addressing students and teachers at Lucas Malia Girls Secondary School in Ruangwa, Lindi region, during an event to congratulate form six students who performed well in the 2025 national examinations.

“You, who are currently in school and those about to join, should know that we have important programs to educate you. You will receive high-quality and solid education that will equip you with knowledge and skills to face various social and economic challenges,” he said.

He added that the sixth phase government has improved the curriculum to respond to global economic changes, including the growing demand for youth employment.

“These changes have transformed our curriculum so that every student who completes school can apply their environment and knowledge to create economic value,” he noted.

During the event, the school’s Deputy Principal, Amon Chalamila, announced the 2025 form six examination results. The school registered 188 students, all of whom sat for the exams. Among them, 90 students achieved Division One, 95 achieved Division Two, and three scored Division Three. No student received Division Four or failed. “This success corresponds to a GPA of 2.34,” he said.
