Ms. Omolo visited the Ministry of Finance pavilion to observe firsthand the services and educational activities provided to the public.
The exhibition, held under the theme “Choose Good Leaders for Sustainable Development of Agriculture and Fisheries 2025,” offers a crucial platform for government institutions to engage with citizens and promote awareness on key development sectors.
Speaking during the visit, Ms. Omolo applauded the Ministry’s commitment to equipping Tanzanians with vital knowledge, particularly in agriculture, livestock, and fisheries sectors.
She emphasized that such efforts are instrumental in empowering citizens to actively contribute to national economic growth.
“I congratulate the Ministry of Finance and its institutions for the excellent work they are doing to educate the public. The knowledge shared here will enhance citizens’ understanding of their roles and responsibilities, ultimately driving growth in agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and the broader economy,” said Ms. Omolo.
During the exhibition, the Ministry of Finance and its institutions provided educational materials and guidance on various important areas, including the Government Budget, fiscal policies, investment opportunities, pensions and inheritance matters, public procurement and supply chain management, higher education programs, financial systems, statistics, tax appeals, dispute resolution, and banking services.
