Eleven Simba SC players have departed early this morning for Egypt to join their teammates currently undergoing pre-season training in Ismailia ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
The players are those whose transfers were recently completed and who have obtained the necessary travel documents. Some have also been promoted from the club’s youth team to join the senior squad for the preparations.
According to a statement released by the club on August 3, 2025, the group is expected to reinforce the squad already in camp as Simba continues its preparations for local and international competitions.
“The players we announced last week as new signings are among those who have travelled and have already arrived to begin official training,” the statement read.
The travelling squad includes new signings and senior team players: Morice Abraham, Hussein Semfuko, Aliasana Kante, Jonathan Sowah, Mohamed Bajaber, Mzamiru Yasin, Salehe Kikuya, and Kibu Denis.
From the youth team, Bashir Salum, Ally Mbegu, and Alexander Erasto have been added to the group, reflecting Simba’s strategy of integrating promising young talent into the first team.
The team is expected to undergo intensive training sessions as they prepare for the upcoming league and continental assignments.
