Gaming brand in Africa, betPawa, has paid TZS 2.8 billion ($ 1.1 million) to pay 8 Aviator winners across the African continent who won in the same round, marking a groundbreaking moment in the region’s online gaming industry.
In what stands as the largest-ever group payout in a single round of Aviator, betPawa has once again raised the bar and reinforced its reputation for turning micro-bets into life-changing wins.
The landmark win, celebrated in Accra, Ghana, included record-breaking winners from Cameroon, Ghana, Zambia, and beyond, further cementing betPawa's status as the leading iGaming platform on the continent.
The winning round showcased betPawa’s unique value proposition, lowest minimum stakes with the highest maximum wins in Africa.
With Aviator offering a max win of up to TZS 650 million ($ 250,000) per round, the platform continues to prove that small bets can yield life-changing returns.
According to Spribe, the creators of Aviator, this payout is the largest group win ever recorded in a single round across Africa.
Among the standout stories was Clovis from Cameroon, who placed two micro-bets of just TZS 442 and TZS 295 and walked away with a massive combined payout of TZS 807.2 million ($270,000).

He was joined by fellow Cameroonians Godi and Hyacinte, who each turned 100 FCFA (TZS 295/USD 0.17) into TZS 403.6 million ($135,000) with a 750,000x multiplier.

The celebration in Accra was nothing short of epic. betPawa gave its winners a full VIP treatment, including business class flights, luxury accommodation, chauffeured transport, custom-made gifts, and a once-in-a-lifetime private jet experience over Ghana. The goal was not only to honor the winners but to make them feel truly valued and celebrated.
But beyond the glamour, betPawa is committed to creating lasting change. In collaboration with the Gaming Commission of Ghana and financial advisors, the company has launched a financial empowerment program for its BIG winners.
The initiative is designed to help players make smart investments, plan for the future, and turn their lucky moments into long-term success.
“This is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do,” said Borah Ndanyungu, Head of Local Marketing and CSR at betPawa.
“We love big winners. In fact, we’re built for them. We’ve designed a platform with the lowest minimum stakes and the highest max win of $250,000 on Aviator in Africa and that's not changing. When our players win big, we celebrate even bigger.”
