Tanzania’s President, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan, is scheduled to inspect two major infrastructure projects in the capital Dodoma on Saturday, 14 June 2025.
The visit will include a review of the ongoing construction of the 112-kilometre Dodoma Outer Ring Road, as well as the new Msalato International Airport projects regarded as critical to the country’s long-term transport and economic development plans.
President Samia will be accompanied by the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr Akinwumi Adesina.
The AfDB is one of the key financiers of these strategic initiatives, which aim to improve regional connectivity and facilitate both domestic and international trade.
According to Dodoma Regional Commissioner Rosemary Senyamule, the tour will commence in the Mtumba–Veyula–Msalato corridor and will conclude with a public address by the President at Nala, where she is expected to highlight the government’s ongoing investment in national infrastructure.
Local residents have been encouraged to attend and witness first-hand the progress being made on projects set to transform the region’s economic landscape.
