The Tanzania Pavilion at the ongoing World Expo 2025 in Osaka is attracting a large number of international visitors, standing out as one of the most visited national pavilions at the global event.
This growing interest has been significantly boosted by the presence of Tanzania's Expo Ambassador, Mr. Michael Msechu, who is in Japan to spearhead promotional efforts.
His mission is to showcase Tanzania’s rich cultural heritage, highlight strategic investment opportunities, and promote key national projects to a global audience.
Visitors to the pavilion are also being introduced to Tanzania’s world-renowned tourist attractions, including Mount Kilimanjaro, Serengeti National Park, and the spice-rich islands of Zanzibar.
EXPO 2025 Osaka, themed “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” will run for four months and brings together countries from around the world to showcase innovation, culture, and development.
Tanzania’s participation is being coordinated by the Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) in collaboration with the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Japan.
The Pavilion serves as a strategic platform to position Tanzania as a leading destination for tourism and investment in East Africa and beyond.
