Debora vows revenge against Asia Meshack in upcoming Dar Boxing Derby

 Rising Tanzanian boxing star Debora Mwenda has sent a fiery warning to her rival, Asia Meshack, ahead of their much-anticipated showdown at the Dar Boxing Derby, scheduled to take place on July 26, 2025, in Dar es Salaam.

Debora, who is deep in training for the bout, said she is entering the ring with a mission to avenge the disappointment of her last fight, which ended in a loss.

"I want Asia to know this: I'm still burning with frustration from my last defeat, and all that anger will be unleashed on her come fight night," said Debora with steely determination.

She further warned her opponent to expect a high-level, technical performance, stating that her preparations are focused on precision and power.

"This won't be just a fight; it will be a demonstration of skill and control. I'm coming back stronger and smarter," she added.

Debora’s coach, Dickson Temba, backed his fighter’s confidence, describing the upcoming clash as a personal battle of redemption.

"This is not just another match it’s a fight for pride and revenge," Temba explained. "I’m training her to be tactically superior. Her opponent must prepare well, because for us, winning is non-negotiable."

The Dar Boxing Derby is expected to attract boxing enthusiasts from across the country, with the Debora vs. Asia clash shaping up to be one of the most thrilling bouts on the card.
