Muleba– The Secretary for Ideology, Publicity, and Training of the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party, CPA Amos Makalla, has announced that Muleba District is set to benefit from several major development projects.
These include the construction of a new district hospital, a large-scale water supply project drawing from Lake Victoria, significant improvements to Kemondo Port, and the expansion of rural electrification.
Makalla made the remarks on May 19 during a large public rally held at Fatuma Grounds in Muleba District, Kagera Region, as part of his ongoing seven-day tour of the Lake Zone.
He praised President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for her commitment to national development, particularly her efforts to channel substantial funding into key projects aimed at improving the lives of Tanzanians.
Makalla emphasized that the CCM government is fully committed to addressing the challenges faced by citizens.
"Several major water projects are being launched in Muleba. Some claimed that although Lake Victoria is nearby, the people still suffer from water shortages that's simply not true.
A strategic water project worth TZS 39 billion is now being implemented, which will draw water directly from Lake Victoria to serve the Muleba District," he said.
Makalla assured residents that wherever challenges arise, the government will act swiftly to provide solutions, reaffirming CCM's role as a party responsible for delivering development and responding to citizens' needs.
