Following a vital 1-0 victory over Kagera Sugar, Mashujaa FC’s Assistant Coach, Charles Fredie, has set his sights on collecting the remaining six points from their final two matches as the club battles to secure its place in the Tanzanian Premier League.

The hard-earned win came in a tightly contested match at Kaitaba Stadium in Kagera Region, where Mashujaa displayed resilience and tactical discipline to walk away with all three points.

Mashujaa now turn their attention to their upcoming clash against KMC, which will be played at their home ground, Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma Region. The fixture is crucial for the club’s survival hopes.

Coach Fredie believes the win against Kagera Sugar has boosted the players' confidence and reignited their determination to fight for every point in the remaining fixtures.

That victory was very important for us—not just in terms of points, but also as a psychological boost for the players,” said Fredie. “Despite a tough match and strong pressure from the opposition, we managed to stay focused and secure the win.”

He emphasized the team's goal is clear: to claim maximum points from the two remaining games in order to avoid relegation.

Our mission now is to give everything we have in these last two matches. We need six points to ensure we stay in a safe zone on the league table,” he added.
