Singida Black Stars and JKT Tanzania have made impressive strides in the CRDB Federation Cup, both securing spots in the semi-finals following commanding victories in their respective quarter-final matches today.

The matches, played at two separate venues in Tanzania, provided fans with thrilling football action and confirmed the strong performances of these two teams.

In Singida, the hosts, Singida Black Stars, defeated Kagera Sugar 2-0 at the CCM Liti Stadium in a well-executed match. The game started on a positive note for Singida, who took the lead in the 11th minute through a clinical strike from Victorien Adebayor.

His goal gave the team an early advantage, and the momentum remained in their favor throughout the match.

The second half saw Singida extend their lead with a well-taken goal from Jonathan Sowah in the 66th minute.

Sowah’s goal all but sealed the victory, as Kagera Sugar struggled to break down Singida’s defensive setup. Despite some efforts from Kagera, Singida Black Stars held firm, confirming their place in the semi-finals.

In Dar es Salaam, JKT Tanzania showcased their attacking prowess with a resounding 3-1 win over Pamba Jiji in a match played at the Major General Isamuhyo Stadium.

The first half was a tense affair, with JKT taking the lead in the 36th minute thanks to an own goal by Pamba Jiji's Yunus Lema. The unfortunate mistake handed JKT Tanzania the advantage, and they capitalized on it.

The second half saw JKT dominate further, as Mohamed Bakari scored two quick-fire goals in the 74th and 85th minutes.

His brace put the game out of reach for Pamba, with JKT leading 3-0. In the dying moments of the match, Henry Msabila added a third goal for JKT Tanzania in the 90+3 minute, giving them a comprehensive 3-1 victory.

With these wins, Singida Black Stars and JKT Tanzania have both earned their places in the semi-finals of the competition.

Singida will now face Simba SC in what promises to be an exciting clash, while JKT Tanzania will await the outcome of tomorrow’s match between Yanga SC and Stand United to determine their next opponent.

Football fans across the country are eagerly anticipating these upcoming semi-final encounters, as the CRDB Federation Cup approaches its thrilling conclusion.
