The Chairman of UVCCM in Dodoma Region, Abdulhabib Jafari Mwanyemba, thanked the UVCCM members in Kongwa District for electing him as the Chairman of UVCCM in Dodoma.
He made these remarks during his visit to check on the projects run by the ruling party, Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM), in Kongwa District.
He visited the construction of the Kongwa District Council, which is now 60% complete, and also opened a new transportation office for UVCCM in Kongwa.
"Without your support, I wouldn’t be here today as the official guest," he said.
"This visit is part of a tour across Dodoma Region. I’ve come with the UVCCM implementation committee to check on the party’s projects."
"Under President Samia’s leadership, we have visited the Kongwa District Council construction site and looked at the opportunities available for both formal and informal jobs for our youth within the party. We must thank the sixth-phase government for its visible achievements."
He added that the party elections are over, and now they are preparing for the Dora elections.
"As leaders chosen to serve, we are committed to leading fairly and providing good service. Party leadership must create opportunities for the youth, which is why we are visiting branches and sections where youth are active to ensure they participate in the special general meeting."
"Youth must get involved in the elections, fill out forms, and vote for leaders from CCM, leaders who are respected, have integrity, and are from our party."
"We have seen the progress of Kongwa District and the youth-led transportation projects, and we are grateful for the ongoing support for our party," he added.
The Chairman of UVCCM Kongwa, Lema, said that the youth in Kongwa are united, and their teamwork is making a positive impact in promoting CCM.
"We have been visiting wards and branches, teaching people about the upcoming elections and how CCM will continue to lead for another five years."
Joyce Kaijale, the Secretary of CCM Kongwa District, shared that many youth have been educated and registered as part of the unity within the party.
"This registration is important to make sure that many youth are involved in the party and the elections. We need to stay calm and patient until it’s time for the campaign and elections," Kaijale said.
