The Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) has donated 80 footballs to the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) for use by the national teams.
TPLB's Public Relations Officer, Karim Boimanda, handed over the donation on March 18, 2025, in Dar es Salaam.
Boimanda explained that the donation was intended to support both the senior and youth national teams.
“This is our contribution to ensure that players emerging from the academies have the opportunity to participate, and we are fulfilling our responsibilities in supporting the growth of football in the country,” Boimanda said.
He added that the footballs will play a crucial role in the preparations of the national teams as they train for upcoming international competitions.
Boimanda also noted that this is the second phase of the ball distribution program, following an initial donation of 100 balls in the first phase.
