Tanzania to host international Level 1 Volleyball Coaching Course in July

By Victoria Godfrey

The Tanzania Volleyball Federation (TVF) is set to conduct an international Level 1 coaching course in July this year.

Speaking to The Respondent Online, TVF Deputy Secretary-General Shukuru Ally revealed that priority will be given to coaches who recently completed the national Level 2 coaching course.

"Our goal is to increase the number of internationally certified coaches in Tanzania, as they are currently few.

This initiative will also broaden their career prospects by equipping them with the skills needed to secure opportunities in different countries," Ally explained.

He highlighted a shift in the training structure, noting that previously, coaches could advance directly from Level 1 to international certification.

However, the introduction of Level 2 now allows for a more structured, step-by-step progression.

Ally encouraged aspiring coaches to seize this opportunity by preparing in advance and registering in large numbers.
