By Our Correspondent, Manchester

Tanzania has successfully completed its tourism promotion tour, "My Tanzania Roadshow 2025," which took place in five cities across four European countries. The campaign ended on March 14, 2025, in Manchester, United Kingdom.

The roadshow covered Cologne (Germany), Antwerp (Belgium), Amsterdam (Netherlands), London, and Manchester (UK).

It aimed to attract European travel agents to sell Tanzania as a top tourist destination. More than 240 European travel agents attended business meetings with 30 Tanzanian travel agents, exceeding expectations.

The Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) Director of Marketing, Mr. Ernest Mwamwaja, said the meetings allowed European agents to learn more about Tanzania’s tourism attractions.

Institutions under the Ministry of Natural Resources and TourismTTB, NCAA, and TANAPA—shared details about Tanzania’s national parks, infrastructure improvements, government efforts to boost tourism, and investment opportunities in the sector.

Tanzanian travel agents praised the roadshow, saying it helped them connect with serious business partners in Europe and expand their market.

Mr. Mwamwaja also thanked Tanzania’s embassies in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK for supporting the campaign.

He encouraged Tanzanian travel agents to take part in such events every year to promote the country’s tourism industry.

He also expressed special appreciation to President Samia Suluhu Hassan for her leadership and efforts in marketing Tanzania globally.

The "My Tanzania Roadshow 2025" was organized by KiliFair and took place from March 9 to 14, 2025.
