Tabora United players return to training camp

The Tabora United team has returned to training today in preparation for two upcoming matches in the NBC Premier League.

The players had been on a short break following their recent match against JKT Tanzania.

Tabora United will face Kagera Sugar in the round of 16 of the CRDB Cup, which is scheduled for March 28 this year.

Tabora United’s Public Relations Officer, Christina Mwagala, stated that they had been awaiting the date for this match, which will determine the team that will qualify for the quarter-finals of the competition.

She emphasized that the team's objective is to perform well in these matches to secure a strong position.

“The team had a brief break after finishing our last match, and today they are back in camp to prepare for the upcoming games,” Christina said.

Regarding their goals in the Premier League, Christina explained that the team is currently in fifth place and aims to finish the season in the top four to secure a spot in international competitions.

She also mentioned that the league is progressing smoothly with intense competition, and teams are performing well, aside from the postponement of the Yanga vs. Simba match.
