Simba SC and Pamba Jiji have secured their places in the Round of 16 of the CRDB Federation Cup after impressive victories in the Round of 32 matches played at various venues across the country.
Simba dominated TMA Stars with a resounding 3-0 victory at KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam. The opening goal came in the 17th minute when Valentine Nouma found the back of the net. Just two minutes later, TMA Stars' defender Sixtus Sabilo inadvertently scored an own goal, giving Simba a comfortable 2-0 lead going into halftime.
The second half saw Simba extend their dominance, sealing the win with a third goal in the 76th minute, courtesy of Lionel Ateba. The final whistle confirmed Simba’s commanding 3-0 triumph.
In another match, Kiluvya suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at the hands of their opponents in a game played at Jamhuri Stadium in Morogoro.
