The highly anticipated semifinals of the Barberian Ramadhan Cup are set to take place tomorrow and the day after at JMK Park in Dar es Salaam.
In the first semifinal clash, Yosam will battle it out against Wasafi tomorrow. Yosam secured their spot after a dramatic 6-5 penalty shootout victory over King Boss, following a goalless draw in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Wasafi advanced after edging out WWB 5-3 on penalties, following a hard-fought 1-1 draw.
The second semifinal, scheduled for the day after tomorrow, will see Master Rim go head-to-head with Kilimanjaro Star Cargo. Master Rim booked their place in the last four with a commanding 3-0 win over Muhimbili Hospital, while Kilimanjaro Star Cargo cruised to the semifinals with an identical 3-0 triumph over Al Mahra.
Speaking to The Respondent Online, tournament coordinator Saeed Juma Shein confirmed that all preparations for the semifinals are complete.
“The competition has been incredibly intense, and we are eager to see which team will be crowned champion this year. We encourage fans to continue supporting and motivating the teams as we approach the final stage of the tournament,” he said.
