Twenty football referees are set to undergo a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) training course, which kicks off tomorrow and runs until March 7 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has confirmed that the participants are referees currently officiating in the Tanzania Premier League.
Among those selected for the course are Ahmed Arajiga, Hery Sasii, Tatu Malago, Nasir Siyah, Mohamed Simba, Ramadhani Kayoko, and Alex Pangras.
Others include Abdallah Mwinyimkuu, Ester Adabert, Frank Komba, Kassim Seif, Ally Ramadhani, Hamdani Said, and Mohamed Mkono.
Also on the list are Janeth Balama, Glory Tesha, Zawadi Yusuph, Siraji Mkwaju, and Shaban Mussa.
The training aims to enhance the referees' understanding and application of VAR technology, ensuring improved officiating standards in domestic football.
