Tanzania’s recent Power and Electricity Exhibition brought together top industry players from both local and international markets, highlighting groundbreaking innovations in energy solutions. Among the standout exhibitors was Neelkanth Cables Industry, a major African cable manufacturer with deep roots in the region.

Ankur Trivedi, the company’s operational manager, proudly emphasized Neelkanth’s dominance in the industry, noting its reputation for producing high-quality cables of up to 32kV—used across domestic, industrial, and high-tension power lines.

“We are undeniably the best local company in the region because of our commitment to quality. Our cables serve everything from homes to transformers and high-voltage infrastructure,” Trivedi stated.

With over six years of operation in Tanzania, Neelkanth Cables has played a crucial role in powering the nation. Their cables have been installed in key institutions, including the State House, major private-sector companies such as CRDB, Azam, Watercom, and Twiga Cement, as well as specialized copper cabling for mining sites.

Beyond its technical contributions, the company is also a key player in the local economy, benefitting from Tanzania’s welcoming business environment. “We’ve recently opened a facility in Dubai, but our main goal remains expanding across Africa. Being an African company allows us to understand local needs better than anyone,” Trivedi added.

As the exhibition concluded, it was clear that companies like Neelkanth Cables are not just participating in Africa’s energy sector—they are shaping its future.
