Simba return to the top of the Premier League

Simba SC has climbed back to the top of the NBC Premier League standings following a dominant 3-0 victory over Tanzania Prisons in a match held yesterday at the KMC Complex Stadium in Dar es Salaam. 

This impressive win has seen Simba amass 47 points, reclaiming the lead and leaving Yanga in second place with 46 points.

The match kicked off with Simba taking charge early. In the 29th minute, Jean Ahoua broke the deadlock with a well-taken goal, giving Simba the lead. 

Just before halftime, in the 44th minute, Elie Mpanzu extended their advantage with a second goal.

 As the first half neared its end, Ladack Chasambi added another in the 45th minute+ to give Simba a comfortable 3-0 lead.

The first half concluded with Simba firmly in control, heading into the break with a 2-0 lead.

The second half saw both teams come out with attacking intentions, but Simba's defense remained solid, denying Tanzania Prisons any opportunity to mount a comeback. 

The match ended with Simba securing a well-earned 3-0 victory.
