Premier League action resumes tomorrow at three venues

The Mainland Tanzania Premier League resumes tomorrow with three exciting matches set to take place at different venues across the country.

Defending champions Yanga will be on the road to face JKT Tanzania at Major General Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Yanga heads into the match with high confidence after their emphatic 6-1 victory over Ken Gold in their previous outing, securing another three points in their title chase. Meanwhile, JKT Tanzania will be looking to bounce back at home after suffering a 2-1 away defeat to Coastal Union.

Ken Gold will battle Fountain Gate at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya.

Ken Gold faces an uphill task as they try to recover from their recent heavy loss. They will be eager to collect crucial points and move away from the relegation zone.

However, Fountain Gate approaches the match cautiously, aware that their opponents are desperate for redemption.

Elsewhere, KMC will take on Singida Black Stars at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam.

KMC is looking to recover from a 2-0 loss to Azam, while Singida Black Stars come into the game with some confidence after earning a 2-2 draw against Kagera Sugar in their last match.

Speaking ahead of the match, Fountain Gate’s Media Officer, Issa Liponda, popularly known as ‘Mbuzi,’ assured fans that the team is in high spirits and ready for the challenge.

He confirmed that their previous clash against Simba did not result in any injuries.

"We know this will be a tough match because our opponents are coming off a heavy defeat and are fighting to avoid relegation.

They have also strengthened their squad with experienced signings during the mid-season transfer window," Liponda said.

He expressed confidence that Fountain Gate would secure all three points and called on fans to continue rallying behind the team.
