The NBC Tanzania Premier League will light up tomorrow with three highly anticipated matches as teams battle for crucial points.
Simba SC will take on Tanzania Prisons at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
Simba’s head coach, Fadlu Davids, expressed confidence in his team’s preparations, stating that the players are in good shape and ready for the challenge.
He acknowledged that the match would not be easy, especially since Tanzania Prisons recently changed their coach.
He also pointed out that the second round of any league is always more competitive, making every game a tough contest.
Tanzania Prisons' head coach, Amani Josiah, emphasized that his team is mentally prepared to face a strong opponent.
He acknowledged Simba’s quality as a team that competes internationally and is coming off a draw in their previous game. Despite the challenge, he assured that his players would fight hard to get a positive result.
“Losing to big teams like Simba, Yanga, or Azam is not a big deal, so I won’t put unnecessary pressure on my players.
Our aim is to play well and fight for three points, and if we manage to get them, we’ll be happy,” said Josiah.
He added that although Simba has a stronger squad, his players are disciplined and follow tactical instructions well, which could make the game competitive.
Elsewhere, Mashujaa FC will take on Coastal Union at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma, while Kagera Sugar will host Tabora United at Kaitaba Stadium in Kagera.
