KenGold bounced back from a heavy defeat in their previous match to claim a 2-0 victory over Fountain Gate in an NBC Tanzania Premier League encounter held today at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya.
Coming off a crushing 6-1 loss to Yanga in their first match of the second round, KenGold entered the game with determination, and their efforts paid off in the 33rd minute when Selemani Bwenzi converted a penalty to give his side the lead.
The first half ended with KenGold maintaining their 1-0 advantage.
As the game approached its final stages, Obrey Chirwa doubled KenGold’s lead in the 85th minute, sealing an important win for his team.
