Barberian crowned champions of Dar es Salaam Regional League

Barberian FC has emerged as the new champions of the Dar es Salaam Regional Football League after securing a 2-1 victory over Bara in the final match held on February 8 at Kinesi Stadium, Ubungo.

With this triumph, Barberian claimed the championship trophy, medals, team jerseys, and match balls. Runners-up Bara finished in second place, while Cargo secured third place, receiving a set of jerseys and two balls. 

All three teams have earned the right to represent Dar es Salaam in the National Regional Champions League, organized by the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF).

king to The Respondent Online, Barberian’s Director, Fidha Helmud Tyson, attributed their success to a strong focus on motivating young players. 

He emphasized that their journey does not end here, as preparations for the next stage are already underway. "Winning is a moment of great joy. 

We had a clear goal to claim this title, and our well-prepared squad of talented players and experienced coaches made it possible. Moving forward, we are determined to keep improving and achieving even greater success," said Tyson.

Barberian’s Team Manager, Saeed Juma Shein, revealed that the club is planning to bolster its squad by recruiting new players to enhance their competitiveness in the upcoming national competition.

 “We are bringing in specialists, including professional coaches, to refine our players’ skills and ensure they maintain top performance levels. This is a crucial step as we prepare for the bigger stage ahead,” Shein said.

He further disclosed that the team will hold a strategic meeting with these experts next Monday, followed by the official commencement of training on Tuesday next week. 

With their eyes set on national glory, Barberian is determined to carry their momentum forward and leave a mark in the National Regional Champions League.
