Tanzania Prisons will go head-to-head with Kagera Sugar in an NBC Premier League match scheduled for tomorrow at 7:00 PM at the Kaitaba Stadium in Kagera.
Both teams approach the game eager for redemption, having suffered defeats in their previous outings. Tanzania Prisons lost 2-1 to Coastal Union, while Kagera Sugar fell 1-0 to Azam FC in their last match.
Speaking ahead of the game, Tanzania Prisons' spokesperson Bright Mbwilo assured fans of the team’s readiness. “We’ve prepared well for this match. The players are motivated and ready to fight for positive results,” Mbwilo said.
He revealed that the team had played earlier this week and traveled to Kagera yesterday, ensuring their readiness for tomorrow’s clash.
Mbwilo urged fans to turn out in large numbers to support the team as they battle for crucial points.
Tanzania Prisons currently sit in 13th place with 10 points, while Kagera Sugar is in 14th place with 9 points. Both teams have played 12 matches so far, making this fixture a critical opportunity for either side to climb the league table.
