KMC and Mashujaa share the spoils in goalless draw in Tanzania premier league

By Flora Mkoloma

KMC failed to capitalize on home advantage in their NBC Tanzania Premier League match, settling for a goalless draw against Mashujaa at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam on Thursday.

The match saw both teams struggle to break each other down, with neither side able to find the back of the net despite plenty of effort.

The first half and the final 45 minutes of play ended in a 0-0 stalemate, with both teams failing to create clear-cut chances. As the game progressed, it became clear that neither KMC nor Mashujaa had the clinical touch needed to secure all three points.

Mashujaa, currently in sixth place, entered the match with four wins, three losses, and six draws, totaling 18 points from 13 matches.

Their solid defensive display allowed them to hold KMC at bay, although they too struggled to create meaningful attacks.

On the other hand, KMC remains in 11th place with 15 points from 14 matches, having secured four wins, suffered seven losses, and drawn three times.

The team will be disappointed with the result, especially after playing in front of their home crowd, as they seek to improve their form in the upcoming fixtures.

The draw means that both teams share a point, but neither has been able to significantly improve their standing in the highly competitive league. As the season progresses, both will need to refine their tactics and improve their scoring efficiency to climb higher in the standings.
