The Bukoba Regional Referral Hospital has received a prestigious award from the Ministry of Health for its outstanding performance in Medicines Use Management (AMS), achieving an impressive 80 percent implementation rate for the year 2024.
This recognition underlines the hospital's dedication to ensuring the effective management of medicines, a critical aspect of its mission to enhance healthcare services and address the persistent challenges of improper medication use.
Speaking during the award ceremony held on December 24, 2024, Witness Aligawesa, representing the AMS team at the hospital, expressed gratitude for the collective effort and commitment of the team and hospital staff.
“I congratulate you for your great efforts and dedication. This award is a sign of recognition for the good work you have done. Let us continue to collaborate and improve our services for the benefit of patients and society in general,” said Aligawesa.
Dr. Museleta Nyakiroto, the hospital’s Medical Officer, also praised the AMS team for their achievement. He emphasized the hospital management's unwavering support for future progress.
