KMC and Simba have reached mutual agreement over the transfer of the former's skipper Awesu Awesu who has legally joined the latter.

On Wednesday morning, the Legal and Players Status Committee of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) ruled that the attacking midfielder was still a legal KMC player though Simba had already introduced him as their own.

However, the committee went further to urge Simba to follow right procedures in pursuing Awesu's signature a process they have amicably accomplished on Thursday.

Via KMC's official Instagram account, they have confirmed that together with Simba, the duo have reached mutual consent for his transfer and wished him the best of luck at the Msimbazi street based side.

Similarly, through Simba App, they have too nodded that Awesu has finally joined them on a two-year contract.

"He is one of the talented players that is why the management of the club has settled this issue amicably to ensure that he is among our players for the 2024/25 season.

"He is currently in the camp with his teammates to prepare for the first Premier League match against Tabora United slated on August 18th (Sunday) at KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam," reads part of the information.
