TTCL Ready to Embrace Digital Transformation at the 48th Saba Saba International Trade Fair

Dar es Salaam. The Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL) has declared its readiness to align with the theme of the 48th Saba Saba International Trade Fair, "Tanzania: The Right Place for Trade and Investment" by opening digital doors for investors and businesses to enhance their operations effectively.

This was affirmed by the Chairperson of the TTCL Board of Directors, Ms. Zuhura Muro, during her visit to the Corporation's exhibition stand at the 48th International Trade Fair taking place at the Mwalimu Nyerere Grounds in Temeke, Dar es Salaam.

Ms. Muro emphasized the Corporation's crucial role in connecting communications both domestically and across borders, with the goal of facilitating business and enabling investors to fulfill their obligations with ease and at the required standard.

She highlighted TTCL's ongoing efforts to connect nearly all neighboring countries to Tanzania's National Communication Backbone, positioning the Corporation as a key player in bridging the digital divide globally due to the quality of communication services it provides.

"As TTCL, we are opening digital doors with surrounding countries, and we have a strategy to connect Tanzania to the digital world through our high-quality communication services," stated Muro.


Furthermore, she expressed TTCL's willingness to collaborate with investors to ensure access to reliable communication services. She extended an invitation to local and international institutions, companies, and businesses to partner with the Corporation, emphasizing the dependability and security of its services.

"We welcome companies and businesses to partner with us, as we believe this collaboration will empower investors to conduct their various activities, including commercial ones, using our communication services," she remarked.

Muro also mentioned TTCL's operation of the National Communication Backbone, indicating the Corporation's expansion into business operations across various regions, including tourist destinations. This initiative aims to support the tourism sector's growth by providing internet connectivity to enhance the value proposition of these tourist attractions.

TTCL's participation in the 48th Saba Saba International Trade Fair demonstrates its commitment to fostering a conducive environment for trade and investment in Tanzania, leveraging its robust digital infrastructure and expertise to empower businesses and drive economic growth.
