Singida Black Stars seek to extend winning run against Mbeya City

Singida Black Stars will be looking to build on their recent victory over Pamba Jiji when they face Mbeya City in an NBC Premier League encounter at Sokoine Stadium on November 3, 2026.

The Singida-based side has travelled to Mbeya with the intention of collecting maximum points as it seeks to maintain its momentum and strengthen its position in the league standings.

The club’s Communications and Information Manager, Hussein Massanza, said the team was determined to secure another victory, adding that preparations had been planned to ensure the players were ready for the challenge.

He said the squad would have two days of training before the match, giving head coach Papy Kimoto an opportunity to assess the players and make tactical adjustments.

“We have just played Pamba Jiji and secured a victory. Now it is Mbeya City’s turn. They should prepare themselves well because we are going there to collect all three points,” Massanza said.

The confidence comes after Singida Black Stars' victory over Pamba Jiji, which the team hopes to use as a springboard for another positive result on the road.

Kimoto said the players would resume training as part of their preparations for the Mbeya trip, emphasising the need to maintain consistency rather than rely on their previous result.

He said the team's ambition was to approach every fixture with the determination to collect three points, a strategy he believes will help improve its standing as the league progresses.

Singida Black Stars will therefore face Mbeya City with the challenge of translating their recent winning form into another away victory.
