Simba Queens and JKT Queens will face off in the Women’s Community Shield final after securing victories in their respective semi-final matches at KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam.

Simba Queens produced the more commanding performance, beating rivals Yanga Princess 3-0 to seal their place in the title decider.

Vivian Corazone opened the scoring in the 24th minute, giving Simba Queens the advantage going into the second half.

Senaf Demise extended the lead in the 57th minute before Mary Siyame completed the scoring in the 90th minute to hand Simba Queens a comfortable victory.

The result ended Yanga Princess’ hopes of reaching the final, while Simba Queens moved one step closer to claiming the Community Shield.

JKT Queens, meanwhile, secured their final berth with a narrow 1-0 victory over Mashujaa Queens in the second semi-final.

The two sides remained level at 0-0 at half-time, with neither team able to convert its chances during the opening 45 minutes.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 71st minute when Fatuma Said found the back of the net to put JKT Queens ahead.

Mashujaa Queens pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages but could not find a way past the JKT Queens defence.

JKT Queens held on for the 1-0 win to join Simba Queens in the final, setting up a clash between two teams that will now battle for the Women’s Community Shield title.
