Reconstruction of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) district office in Kyela has reached the roofing stage following a second contribution from party National Executive Committee member Ndele Mwaselela, who has urged project supervisors to ensure the building is completed without further delays.
Mr Mwaselela donated timber for roofing the office, which was destroyed by fire during the unrest of October 29, 2025.
His latest contribution builds on his earlier support for the reconstruction, as efforts gather pace to restore the facility and enable the party to resume its activities from the premises.
He emphasised the need to maintain the construction momentum, insisting that work should continue from the roofing stage until the building is fully completed.
Mr Mwaselela also commended Kyela District CCM Chairman Mwanjala for overseeing the project, urging him to remain focused on his responsibilities and not be discouraged by criticism.
He encouraged the district leadership to sustain its efforts, stressing that the reconstruction should not stall before the office is ready for use.
For his part, Mr Mwanjala said roofing sheets had already been secured, expressing confidence that construction would continue without interruption until completion.
The rebuilding of the office is aimed at restoring the party's administrative infrastructure in Kyela after the fire destroyed the previous building, disrupting the use of the facility for party activities.
