Mining Commission Executive Secretary Eng. Ramadhani Lwamo has visited the Ministry of Minerals pavilion at the ninth National Mineral Technology and Investment Exhibition in Geita, where he reviewed services and opportunities being showcased to investors, miners and the public.

Eng. Lwamo toured the pavilion at the Dkt. Samia Suluhu Hassan Grounds in Bomba Mbili and interacted with Mining Commission staff participating in the exhibition, which ends today, October 3, 2026.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Mining Commission leadership to review information being presented to visitors on various aspects of Tanzania’s mineral industry, including exploration, mining, mineral processing, trading and investment.

The pavilion is also showcasing technologies used in the mining sector, including mineral testing and analysis through the Mining Commission’s Mineral Laboratory and X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) technology.

The exhibition has brought together investors, miners, mineral traders, technology providers and members of the public, providing a platform for stakeholders to learn about developments and investment opportunities in Tanzania’s mining industry.

The annual exhibition is intended to promote mineral-sector investment, showcase mining technologies and provide miners and other stakeholders with information on services offered by the Ministry of Minerals and its institutions.

Eng. Lwamo’s visit comes as the exhibition concludes after showcasing Tanzania’s mineral potential and government services supporting activities across the value chain, from exploration and extraction to processing and trading.
