Energy Ministry Chief visits Kizimkazi exhibition

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Energy responsible for Electricity and Renewable Energy, Engineer Felchesmi Mramba, has visited the Ministry of Energy and its affiliated institutions’ exhibition stands at the Kizimkazi Festival 2026 in South Unguja, Zanzibar.

During the visit, Mramba received briefings on the services being showcased at the exhibition, as well as various programmes and projects being implemented across the energy sector.

The presentations covered key areas including electricity, petroleum, natural gas and clean cooking energy.

The participation of the Ministry and its institutions in the Kizimkazi Festival provides an opportunity to showcase ongoing initiatives and raise awareness of developments across the energy sector.

The exhibition also highlights government efforts to expand access to reliable electricity, strengthen the petroleum and natural gas sectors, and promote the adoption of clean cooking energy solutions.

Mramba’s visit comes as government institutions continue using public exhibitions and outreach programmes to share information on ongoing projects and services in the energy sector.
