Simba SC registered a narrow 1-0 victory over JKT Tanzania in an NBC Premier League match played on May 6, 2026, at Meja Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

The match was evenly contested from the start, with both sides showing discipline and attacking intent. Early exchanges saw each team create chances, but poor finishing and strong defending kept the game goalless through the first half. At the break, the score remained 0-0 after 45 minutes of balanced play.

The second half began at a higher tempo as both teams pushed forward in search of a breakthrough. Simba appeared more purposeful in attack, while JKT Tanzania relied on quick transitions and set-piece opportunities. However, both defenses remained compact in the opening stages of the half.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 54th minute when Clatous Chama produced the decisive moment, scoring the only goal of the match to give Simba the lead.

The goal shifted momentum in favor of the visitors, who managed the game with more control after taking advantage.

Following the goal, JKT Tanzania increased their pressure in search of an equalizer, but Simba’s defensive organization held firm.

Despite several late attempts, JKT were unable to find a way through as Simba maintained their structure and game management.

At full time, Simba held on for a 1-0 win, securing three important points. The result lifted them to second place on the league table with 46 points, keeping them firmly in the title race as the season progresses.
