Arusha, Mwanza to host CRDB Federation Cup Semi-finals

The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has confirmed that Arusha and Mwanza will host this season’s CRDB Federation Cup semi-final matches scheduled for June.

According to TFF, Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium will host the clash between Simba SC and Coastal Union on June 20, while CCM Kirumba Stadium will stage the highly anticipated showdown between Azam FC and Young Africans SC on June 21.

Simba reached the semi-finals in dominant fashion after crushing TRA United 4-0 in the quarter-finals.

Coastal Union booked their place after edging Singida BS 4-2 in a penalty shootout following a draw in regulation time.

Azam FC progressed with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Mashujaa, while Yanga secured their semi-final berth after defeating JKT Tanzania 2-0.

The semi-finals are expected to attract huge attention from football fans across the country, with four of Tanzania’s strongest sides battling for a place in the final of the prestigious CRDB Federation Cup.
