Members of the General Assembly of ACT Wazalendo in Mtambile Constituency, South Pemba Region, have met in a constituency general meeting aimed at strengthening party unity, improving internal coordination, and reinforcing political activities at the grassroots level.
The meeting brought together delegates and members to receive updates on party operations, review progress made so far, and reflect on both achievements and challenges facing the party in the area.
It also provided space for open discussion on how to strengthen the party’s structure and increase active participation of members in political and community engagement.

Members were reminded of their responsibility to ensure that the party remains closely connected to wananchi and responsive to their daily concerns.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Secretary General of ACT Wazalendo Zanzibar, Omar Ali Shehe, who emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, and collective responsibility among members in building a strong political organization.
He stressed that every member has a role to play in strengthening the party from the grassroots, urging them to actively engage communities and expand the party’s influence across all levels.
He further noted that sustained unity and strong organization remain key pillars in ensuring the party grows into a credible political force capable of addressing the needs and aspirations of citizens.
