The Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) has unveiled an enhanced online service system designed to improve convenience and efficiency for businesses and other stakeholders. The new platform, named BRELA Online Services (BOS), officially became operational on April 8, 2026.
Through BOS, users can now register new business names and obtain industrial licenses more seamlessly. All stakeholders seeking these services are required to submit applications via the new portal: https://bos.brela.go.tz.
Clients with ongoing applications should continue using the previous Online Registration System (ORS) at https://ors.brela.go.tz until their submissions are completed.
Existing ORS account holders can access BOS in two ways. They may use the email linked to their ORS account and click the “forget password” option to receive a confirmation email that grants BOS access. Alternatively, users can create a new account, after which a confirmation email will allow login into the new platform.
Services such as company registration, patents, trademarks, and other ongoing applications will continue under ORS until a full transition is completed.
BRELA urges all stakeholders and members of the public to embrace the new BOS system to benefit from faster, more reliable, and efficient service delivery.
